I’m sure Alex would appreciate it. I remember reading an interview with him years ago which touched on the racist abuse he received from his own fans whilst playing for the Pool.

He was pretty vocal in the support of the Livingston boss who's just satisfied the SFA over his conviction, and seemed a thoroughly decent and respectful manager. Good luck to him.

Cracking player, used to see him, Ginge and Mark Taylor all the time. Marks parents lived down the road from me and the three were good friends. All nice guys and great players for us!
