Aren't they looking for a director of football to oversee the head coach? Could be that, would make some sense to have someone with experience to be in overall charge of, say, an Evatt type manager.

Trying my best to put a positive spin on it if true, perhaps a senior, director of football type role with a view to helping out a young untested managerial appointment such as Rusk??

He has a 46% win rate as a manager, that's pretty good. I would actually be happy with him as Director of Football with someone like Dunn or Evo as head coach.

He just had a poor 12 months in charge of Villa and Forest after doing well at Birmingham for several years. Hardly a downward spiral. I can't understand the negative comments, when were we last linked with such well regarded manager as this?

I think David Dunn will want the job. He said he didn’t when it seemed like Nathan Jones was going to be appointed more or less straight away.
Give it to him til the end of the season, and see how the land lies then. He’s doing OK it’s a no brainier IMO.

He was because I saw him with my own eyes. It's not in my interest to make it up. I'm not saying he's in line to be the next manager, and to be honest i hope he isn't. But he was there and I'm not a liar!

I was in Corporate today courtesy of TAM. I’m pleased to report that it wasn’t Alex Mcleish that was in the club tie. It was Dan Berry who is the headmaster of Kirkham Grammar. He is the spitting image of Alex Mcleish, albeit several years younger, so I can see the confusion.
Gary Caldwell was at the game today as well as on Tuesday but he isn’t on the radar.
