All Pomp and no Circumstance!

If we average 2 points per game from here then we are well and truly in the mix. The past month has shown we can do that even if many think that is infeasible.
That is a run of winning 2 and losing 1

Win 2 draw 1 and lose 1 is also probably enough

1.5 per game is probably not enough.
 
There are no stand out teams . This is the year we need to go up .
Hopefully we can get the consistency we need because ability wise we are good enough to go up .
 
The reason we aren't top 6 is because we can't follow up often enough after commanding home wins with a solid away performance.

If we don't beat Burton we might as well give up any idea of trying to get promoted this season.
 
A sign of a good team is when you get something out of games you have no right to.
Pompy, by their own fans admissions, have been very luck in games this season, winning games at the death or drawing games they should have been beaten in.
The fact they've won two thirds of their games and only lost one suggests to me they can't be so lucky.
For me they're the stand out side in the division.
As for it being a reflection of the division?
We find ourselves 8 points off an automatic spot having played a game more, the only reflection I take is that Blackpool FC aren't as good as some thought at the start of the season 🤷

Peterborough are the best team I have seen in our league. Saw them at Bloomers and last week at Fleetwood. They have several fast, skillful players who move the ball much quicker than we do. They will be there or thereabouts come the season's end!

And yet we were still in the game despite having 10 men for a half.
 
It’s a shite league and we are miles off the pace, thanks to genius management. I don’t see anything changing that will improve our away form to anything close to the standard required.

It’s a reflection how far off we are from getting up — we can beat them 4—0 at a canter but It’s only a statement result if u follow it up with a solid set of results — they won every league match since !

For the Fylde coast teams to take 4 points off them at their place shows what can be achieved no more

We came off the back of a disastrous season was always going to be a hangover, the fact we are in this position at the halfway point with the majority of players playing well and fully confident is indeed genius management. I fully expect us to make the play offs and worry the top two.

Today was as predictable as Boxing Day coming after Christmas Day. We have learned nothing from Cambridge away.
