But did you watch the game? Did Appleton pick the best formation and did he react to what was happening on the pitch? Did he add anything or would we have been as well served with a cardboard cutout?

Yeah I did watch the game, we were lucky it was 2-0, their players had better quality.

It's impossible for me to say what's the best formation against the Watford side today, nobody knows what's the best formation against this side, all you can do is try and pick a good side and learn from it. Was you moaning when we smashed them at Bloomfield?

This whole cardboard cut out thing is ridiculous. As soon as the players cross onto the pitch it's on them, you shouldn't be telling your players what to do from the side lines, they should know and be able to make their own choices, EVERY top coach says that if you watch much of the prem.

We have the smallest budget in the league. It is going to happen better sides beat us.

They haven’t backed HIM, the model the club follows is to recruit to a certain pattern, regardless of the head coach. The days of managers recruiting players is long gone. A new head coach could be installed tomorrow and they would be expected to work with the same players they have now and the ones they intend to sign. Appleton only has a minor input.

Watford were there for the taking today but we were set up badly. Big Gaz is a decent player but when he plays at the moment we become very one dimensional. The midfield again was cut wide open because we didn’t have a CDM playing hence why Sonny and Charlie are ineffective, and what’s the point in playing balls head and chest to CJ when he’s at his most dangerous on the ground running at defenders. If us fans can see where our weak spots are why can’t the coach?

We all know everything is not fine ....

Let's look at the facts and not the excuses. It's way past blaming injuries and a bad transfer window. MA is making poor decisions before and during games, he was a poor appointment at the start, and under his tenure the club is in free fall. His record wasn't good before he came back and now it's worse. I just don't understand how anyone is still defending him. I love this club, but MA has turned the fans against each other, and this board is full of fans arguing. For the sake of this club, he needs to go. I can accept going down (but, I don't want to), but if that is what is going to happen then let's go down fighting with the fans united behind the team. As long as MA is in place that will never ever happen.

I know my nan would pick a Right Back as a Right Back.
I know my nan would start our top scorer.
I know my nan would not continue as normal after Watford bring on 4 subs.

Plus my nan actually has eyebrows, so that's another one up on Appleton.

It's not really a question of who will "make the players better".
Anyone who does the basics would already make the players infinitely better.
