Well frankly none of us know what the selection process was.

But just on basic demographics if you had:

1. White males in London in Box 1. And
2. Non white males PLUS all females in London in Box 2.

Where do you think the majority would be?

I’d hazard a guess it wouldn’t be in Box 1.

The chef has accrued a team of his choice.

Just like every Indian, Bangladeshi, Pakistani, Thai, Moroccan, Algerian, South African, Chinese, Malaysian, American or Greek restaurant owner would see fit. Their business. Their decision.

We all know there's an obvious agenda by some against being white these days, completely hypocritical situations that just wouldn't work the other way round. The royal balcony being "terribly white" comment which could only be interpreted as racist, especially if the other way round, yet somehow wasn't according to many. Similar with the all white womens footbal team comment.

Even a lot of Black people agree this stuff is nonsense, it's the best person for the job regardless of sex, colour etc.

That will at times lead to an imbalance in different directions.

A bit like trying to force equality in gender, where men and women by their own free will will choose very different careers.

The vast majority of nurses are women, should men be kicking off about this and demanding more representation? No of course not.

Yeah I had the same thought last night as I put my head on my pillow. Ditto Chinese restaurants.

And then I decided really it was probably just a branding issue. If he’d called his restaurant an “Aryan” that would’ve been fine

Just did a quick Google on restaurants in Bradford and found this clearly racist photo similar to the London one.

The whole thing is ridiculous, I saw that photo on Twitter earlier today and didn’t at first realise it was something that would kick up a fuss. Just cook me nice food, I don’t care who does it, just make it tasty and provide good service whilst I am there!!

Just did a quick Google on restaurants in Bradford and found this clearly racist photo similar to the London one.

The whole thing is ridiculous, I saw that photo on Twitter earlier today and didn’t at first realise it was something that would kick up a fuss. Just cook me nice food, I don’t care who does it, just make it tasty and provide good service whilst I am there!!

Absolutely disgraceful, the fact that their faces are nearly blurred out on this low res photo says it all, they must have known this would be controversial.
