Always under pressure

We are so predictable in our play that the player on the ball generally has very little time on the ball to pick a pass.
We always play an obvious ball, from Husband to Marv, back to Husband, it’s clear to the opposition and they just press us and then Husband is under pressure and just hoofs it to no one.
Same in midfield where Norburn passes it sideways or backwards everytime and it’s obvious where the ball is going.
A heady combination of a bad set up and poor tactics. We looked hopeless last night.
We need a complete reset with a new manager and assistants now. No point in waiting until the end of the season, nothing will change.

We are under pressure because we played 3 centre backs last night who are extremely uncomfortable on the ball.

Casey and Pennington are the only decent footballing centre halves we have.

When we won 10 on the trot the team barely changed. When we went to the Prem the team barely changed at the end of the season, even though Adam was a booking away from suspension. These lads played on a shocking pitch yet never rested. Difference is Critchley either realises players are poor so doesn’t know his best team or he thinks cos he has a badge or too that he is as innovative as Pep. The first reason I get the second is delusional.

But Marv is still our best centre back, so should be playing but in a four.

I will moderate that and say that Casey, Pennington and Marv are good centre-backs whilst the first two are also good ball players.

Even my wife, who doesn't like football but had to suffer watching last night, pointed out that the team in blue passed to each other whereas Blackpool booted it upfield all the time with little chance of finding a player in tangerine. Perhaps she could be Critchley's much-needed assistant.

Everyone can see just how limited the back three are when in possession, it's been blindingly obvious since the start of the campaign, so why is that the management/backroom staff are failing to see this grave shortfall, and how much longer will it take before effective change is made?
