Amazing gesture from the Armfield Club.

Big thank you to everyone at the Armfield Club (AKA the Arndale) for such a lovely gesture. Especially Grimmy for sorting it and Big Gary Goals for facilitating the signing of the shirt and card.
For anyone who isn't aware my partner Emma, who is a season ticket holder, suffered a brain hemorrhage and stroke on Boxing Day and has been in hospital since.

God bless you, Emma. I have prayed for your recovery.

I had a stroke last September and was lucky to get away with no permanent brain damage. When I was in hospital the guy in the next bed to me had in the past had 2 massive brain hemorrhage's and stroke's and you would never of guessed it. It is possible to make even a full recovery in time.

Had a major brain haemorrhage 13 years ago and if it offers any comfort to you Highfield, I made a full recovery. I hope that your partner has the same outcome , really scary shit ! Be positive x

Mark you’ve been through the mill & not out of it yet. Really pleased to hear things seem to be going in the right direction. We are all hoping for a return to some sort of normality in the not too distant future. Nice gesture from the club & players, as these things must help in a small way with keeping you all in a positive state of mind. Now let’s put us all in a better frame of mind & beat Bolton too.
