31 in May. Out of contract. Been away from native Australia for over 10 years. Looking for a “last” bumper contract ? Maximising money I would assume that will be overseas?
 
Disappointing if he has gone, but good luck to him and a big thanks especially for the two play off final goals. Good player on his day, and was in great form before he got dropped.

We need another midfield replacement I think.

They created a load of unnecessary drama and talk by just not being honest and saying he was considering his options with his contract running out next summer & then tried to counter act all the chat they had created thinking they were part of the secret service by putting him on the bench at Forest and not using him and then bringing him on for 1 minute in the Mickey Mouse cup.

Comical stuff. It’s been obvious what’s been going on. Nobody begrudges KD taking his last payday after his service and Play-Off final goals.

Looks like his send off was infront of 1,000 people.

You rarely see a club discussing the future of a player though. Most clubs speak when something actually happens. I see this as another stick to beat the club with and an opportunity for a moan. I’d concentrate on the players who want to be here.

All the club needed to say was ourselves and Kenny are looking at his future at the club. Simple as that.

Instead we had fans thinking he’d had family deaths or he was ill himself. Poor doo.

I just hope there isn't a serious illness in either half of the couples families t has meant time needed off..

They wont say a word until they want it to go public, that's if there is anything to say
 
But Critchley hasn’t been honest. First he said he was being rested, then it was a personal issue, then he was training and available, then he was on the bench and finally gets five minutes in an Efl cup game. Then he doesn’t make the bench. He is either fit to play or he isn’t.

When Bowler left that was a strange one, this one has been weird too.

Rested, personal issue etc.

Are they dealing with these outging transfers in the best way? Is it NC or the club? Is this what most other clubs do?

Critchley doesn't have to say anything, things are kept secret at times, and never listen to newspapers they wont have a clue either

The newspapers quote Critchley verbatim. They are his words. Not sure how you can blame the press when the manager is sending mixed messages.

He asked to leave at the end of the season which is why he's out of favour
