And there we have it..

Just listened to Slaven Bilic's interview after the game. Very honest. Basically saying we were stronger, faster, more committed, first to the ball. In fact everything you expect from a team as a given. They have players who were more expensive, better paid, on paper they should win by a mile. We have a TEAM who play for each other, play for the fans, and give everything for the shirt they wear. I know which version of a team I want to support. UTMP 👏 👏 👍 👍 👏.

I love that comment. Firstly hats off to Bilic for his open and honest assessment, you don't get it off many head men.

But also, anyone looking at that and just thinking we out worked and fought Watford (which of course we did) is going to get a surprise if they set up to do the same, thinking we're just committed "cloggers" as that dear Watford fan said.

We also have skillful quality players. Patino starting to control games more and show his passing range and vision, with Wright ahead linking. The close ball skills of Poveda, runs from nowhere by Corbeanu that get 15-20 yards further than they have the right to (just introduce a bit of passing Theo). Jerry's workrate was unquestionable, but now starting to show he has close skills himself, hopefully after his brace he's now up and running for more, and MA obviously sees him as more or less automatic selection.

And that's before we bring back Fiorini and, God forbid, Stewart, plus fringe like CJ and possibly Dougall if the midfield continues to perform like that.

And that's with respect to all I haven't mentioned, it would be a very long post otherwise! Carry this confidence forward lads, and we'll surprise a few this year.

I do but must admit I thought the ‘your getting sacked in the morning‘ chant was very funny😄
It was surprising to hear the Watford fans join in the chant though!!

Every credit to Bilic for his comments, he probably felt let down by a few players in the 2nd half.
They had 2 players on CJ, and neither of them closed him down for the cross for Jerry's first, bizarre.

It was a great result and performance, with Yates showing his class (both goals were amazing), but let's not hang out the bunting and get the party hats on just yet.

I still think we will do well just to stay up, and we are just 1 bad result from this board going in to the usual melt down mode.

Football fans, especially the young uns, don't you just love em?

And that just amplifies the point. 're the defender who couldn't be arsed chasing CJ after he got beat and basically allowed him to cross into a dangerous area. Switch that to, say, Callum Connolly. He I would have bust a gut to close him down.

The chant was really about the owners, and I think the Watford fans are getting a bit fed up with them.

Oh, in that case fair enough. It's just that they appeared to be pointing at the dug out.
I can understand the frustration with the owners.

The point was that the owners are mad enough to sack Billic after 3 games, so they were saying that he was on the way out and hence pointing to the dug-out, but the chant was about how stupid the owners are.

Yeah they're pissed off. Irony thing. Think they realise it's one manager change too far now that they're not defying logic every time it happens.

The manager doesn't care about ownership. His comments weren't pro BFC players and how we played as such they were directed at his own players as a kick up the arse.
