And to cap it all

It looks like Preston are going to sneak into the Play Offs. And it’s always the team who sneaks in that win it. bloody typical

Have you looked at the league table it’s only 2 points. And it’s only Millwall! If we’re down by the time we play them at home, we’ll roll over for them. May as well end the season on a high 😀

I don't care if Preston do or don't tbh. Why anyone even gives it the thinking time is beyond me. They are a rival and I want to beat them when we play them but apart from that I don't care. If they go up fair play and good luck but either way I'm not a#sed.

The nobber I work with lives in Lytham and Big Mick is/was renting the house next door. He told me he was a bit a prick, hardly spoke for 6 weeks and then spat his dummy out the Sunday after nobbers dicked us.

They've got their easy games out the way, still had to win them of course.

Typically those above and around them have turned shit recently and haven't won again.

Their remaining games are all against far better sides and Rovers have a game in hand.

If Millwall beat them it's all to do again, but even if they get in the playoffs I fancy boro to go up, they look head and shoulders above the rest.

If Lytham has become Knobber Land then that is disgraceful…no disgusting…it wouldn’t have happened in my time there😉……must be down to an elderly gentleman ( sic) who apparently enjoys ( or enjoyed) evenings out there attracting them🙄

…actually we lived in St.Annes but we did drink in the County and actually played football for them( albeit a very very long time ago😀)

Does your mate live next to the Clifton Hotel?
That's where McCarthy was stopping whilst under Blackpool's employment

I saw him come out of a house on Warton Road at 6:15 one morning on my way to work so I'm not sure he is/was staying at the Clifton Hotel

A pal of mines lad was delivering newspapers and saw him leaving a house on Warton Street so he was defo living down there.

There are at least 3 or 4 ex-PNE players who live in Lytham near me. Spoken to Ross Wallace a few times. Wanted to hate him but he is a really nice guy.

Against far better sides?

Millwall - beat us 4-2 in a game that we dominated yet 4 from their total of 5 shots went in. Level on points with them

Swansea - beat them 1-0 and we’re 9 points in front of them

Blackburn - hammered them 4-1 away. Level on points

Sheff Utd - You’ve got me there

Sunderland - Drew 0-0. 4 points behind us.

As I’ve said it’s such a tough run in and I don’t think we’ll do it but your much better sides talk is rubbish.

By the way, I agree about Middlesbrough.
Best side outside the top two for me.

You've just played us, QPR and Reading, some of the worst sides and in awful form.

Your previous results mean nothing to what I've said. The league table and form table doesn't lie.

The remaining games are against far better sides, far higher in the league, as you said yourself about the run in just above.

Look at the form table at the bottom 🙄

Apologies mate, I misread your post as if you were saying much better sides than us.

Yeah, you’re right.

The games we have are all against decent sides.

Yes, you’re correct, he was renting on Warton Street.

Sickening. One of the worst things about moving to Lytham is the amount of Nobbers. Wasn’t like that when I was younger.
Recently moved away from Lytham after 10 years there. Most of the local pubs were nearly always frequented by nobbers. Let's be fair Prest*n is a shithole so you'd want to move out if you could.

Not missing Lytham one bit. Snooty, entitled, rude people. I'd forgotten how nice it is to live and DRIVE somewhere where the people actually give way, let you out and are polite on the roads. So many angry old biddies in the Honda Jazz's or Range Rovers. So many selfish, snotty, Tory individuals who are just unpleasant. Fuck 'em!

Not come across that side before. It’s a thriving town that should be celebrated. Just because people don’t walk around in tracksuits apart from Lytham FY8, doesn’t mean they are snobs.
