Anderson out AGAIN!

Injuries are having a major impact this season, how many more points would we already have with a full squad to choose from.
Unfortunately Keshi is very injury prone and on another thread was not someone I would offer a new contract to. It does not matter how good these players are if you cannot get them on the pitch.

Hopefully not 3 at the back, although if it goot us the win I wouldn't really care.
If we play 3 CB's again we will defiantly lose, we may lose anyway but I just wouldn't do that again. Gab's Marv, Thornily & Hubby (possibly Thompson for Thornily with Hubby at CB)

It's a fuckin joke, absolute pantomime, does this keep the sports science dept in work?.Get the magic sponge out and run the fucker off yer soft buggers

Like signing injury prone players cheaper you mean?
Outside of Stewart, who was known to be ‘injury prone’?

Keshi had never had a serious injury, same with Gabriel, Beesley, last season Husband, Marv Maxwell etc.

I think they’re could be an argument that we signed a lot of these players from the lower leagues and possibly that’s why they were there, i.e. they’re bodies arnt up to the strains of Championship football.

They can’t ALL be injury prone.

Who knows what MA was planning. But Williams' injury may force his hand back to 4 at back., if he still had 3 CHs in mind.

Keshi and Stewart are two we need to ditch asap, I’am not even sure we’ll see either this season.
As for Williams he needs to go back to his club in January.
Both out of contract at the end of this season I believe. No doubt both will have a Lazarus-esque recovery in December until May.

They really need to look at their training methods and analyse how these injuries keep occurring. It is understandable to pick up injuries with the intensity of Championship football but not in day to day training.

its understandable to pick up injuries whilst coming back from an injury

TBF, you could understand why you'd be tempted to offer a basic contact and pay as you play bonuses.

I wonder how much money/week is literally paying for someone to recover? £30k/wk??

Wouldn't feel as bad if they were injuries inflicted during a passionate local derby or something like that, but a lot of ours aren't.

No idea whether the new facilities will improve resilience and/or recovery time; but that £30m could get paid back in terms of not paying staff sick pay far quicker than would otherwise be the case.

Well last season it was definitely the pitches at Squiresgate but supposedly they spent a fortune on them over the Summer so who knows at this point.

I did wonder if it's a change in the training routine.
A different approach to what we had under the last manager and coach.
Well whatever methods they are using for training is not improving the passing and set pieces, that’s for sure. Injuries have increased, that’s about all.
