He didn’t say that to be fair.
He said Covid vaccine was the “biggest crime against humanity since the Holocaust”. I wouldn’t have used that phrase but that’s what he said not as you call it.

IF I read it correctly, there were 40,000 or so adverse reactions, mostly non-serious. 1200 or so deaths but it appears as though the total number of doses given has been redacted.
It's hard to make any more assumptions about it because of that.
However, have some people been affected by having a vaccine - yes.
Is it a relatively small number - yes
It's unfortunate for those who have had one.
Can you in all honesty compare a vaccination programme to protect people against all illness of (at the time) unknown severity with the deliberate extermination of 6 million people - it's a stretch in my opinion.

To givd it some context, there has been no direct correlation attributed to the vaccine and those deaths, by the way. People have died who would have died anyway. Literally billions of the vaccine have been administered. Miniscule numbers of adverse reactions.

Not a great meme in the circumstances considering Begbie is (intentionally) ironically smoking and drinking in the scene and the novel has quite a lot about the hypocrisy of society.
