The Blackpool FC Former Players Association will be bringing along former Pool player Andy Barlow, to Billy Ayre Lounge in The ARMFIELD Club tomorrow prior to our fixture v Shrewsbury.

In addition to an interview Andy will also will make the 1953 monthly sweepstake draw with 3 cash prizes and a choice of match worn shirts kindly donated by BFC.

Balls can be purchased for the draw for £5 from 1:30.

I remember when he scored a screamer against Swindon in a top of the table clash in 95/96.. It took a while for everyone in the South Paddock to realise it had gone in..It looked like it hit the side netting. Can't really remember much else about Andy Barlow..I think he was just a steady full back.

He was excellent . He got injured in the final league game at York and missed the play off games against Bradford . A big loss as Andy Gouck had to fill in . We got away with it at Bradford but sadly not in the home leg.
