JUST effing wow.as i speak. Andy Holt giving his side of the Cole / Bell sacking at Accrington. just listen now or catchup. blistering stuff. who the eff would be an owner.
 
The flip side of it is who will work for him now. Jobs a job but he'll be fortunate to find an up and comer who can get a lot out of a little and put up with him providing a running commentary.

Well he has already found someone to work for him . Our former midfielder John Doolan was appointed manager last week after a brief spell as caretaker.

I saw that but I think they've had their day in the sun with Coleman. And Holt peaked when he had his burger bonus war with Shaun Harvey.
 
still listening . just believe really that holty is doing the best for his local football club. Three hundred thousand pounds a week. that is some serious commitment. he has got some balls that bloke. imagine super simon sadler doing this interview. well done Andy. a view from the trenchs its on the bbc sounds for thirty days. defo worth a earful

I thought he must have had a body and a facelift if it was the same guy.

There was a brief time where I thought we might have cocked up letting Michael Nottingham go to Accy as they were getting everything right on no money but it never lasts.
 
Found this a brilliant listen . I've never really liked Andy Holt much and was definitely in the 'John and Jimmy' camp but listening to this definitely changed my mind a bit. Holt was very honest , made it clear that John and Jimmy were not as united as you would think and Colemans decision to have an U23's side was disastrous for the club. The only bit that Holt wasn't convincing was at the end when he started having a go at Andy Bayes and Radio Lancs. Came unstuck a bit with that but like he Is would never admit he was wrong . no problem . just good to listen to the other point of view. i am going to listen again on the link someone else put up. the best hour of sports radio for a long time.
 
I did listen again. imagine that being on FIVE live. a real football club . like the other 72 in the efl. not the pl obsessed five live.
