Andy Lyons Signs

Signs in Jan but on loan until the end of season with Rovers

Where does it say that?

Remember that the LoI season runs March to November, so why would they want to loan him back for half a season, and he's out of contract in November, so if we don't get him in January, then we're literally paying for the last 3 months of his contract.

Sorry, I don't think you're right.

Silly mistake of mine 😩

Why would Jordan Thornilly leave?
He's a class centre half.
I wouldn't want him leaving.
Some players have to move on to balance the books & the squad numbers.
Jordan is very frustrated that he's not a regular starter & at 25, he wants to play regularly.
I know he was wanting to move on under Judas, until he returned from his excellent spell at Oxford, when Judas took more of a liking to him & played him more often.
Jordan loves it at Pool & I really hope he stays, let's see what this week brings.

Watching YouTube footage he seems to feature mainly as a left wing back for Shamrock. He looks the complete footballer. He seems comfortable on either foot. He's skilful can beat his man, pacey, can pick a pass from midfield areas and an excellent finisher.

I don't know how good their league is but he's already shown he can do it on the European stage.

He looks like he can play either wing back position and I've no doubt he could be more than just cover should we be short in midfield.

This looks to be an excellent signing, more than just one for the future and our scouting team seem to have done their homework on this one.

These are exactly the kind of signings we should be making, and a 4.5 year deal means that in future we can avoid a potential Josh Bowler type situation occurring.

So he is a right full back then
is he to fight with Gabriel. Or will be sold in January

plus can I ask , seen this a couple times , scattergun , what’s it mean please lol 🤷🥴

I don't think we'll be after another fullback like some people are suggesting.

After all, we did sign 2 development squad fullbacks this window.

The chances of a 3rd place right-back requiring to play before January would be minimal.

We've already got three left backs!

If he goes it would have to be £1m
