Anne Armfield RIP

Yes I heard on Sunday, sad news as she was such a lovely lady who sadly lived her final years suffering from dementia.

Whenever I called at the Armfield residence in South Shore to see John, she always got the kettle on and brought us cake and biscuits and made you feel so welcome.

RIP Anne, now at peace.

I didn't know Jimmy personally but I do know a few folk who did and I've never known anybody have a bad word to say about him.

I wouldn't know his son either but he always comes across a nice chap and has represented the family with class since his father left us.
