Another covid jab? No thanks.

If they stopped transmission or even had any meaningful effect on it they would have been far more merit to taking them.

I had 2 then sacked the booster off, people tend to get ill still anyway.

Can see the merit for those older if they want to but some of the overreaction from covid has proven very damaging.

Probably a big reason for the mess we're in now, you cant just shut the world down and print money for people to stay at home and expect no consequences.

What it did show was the power of the government and the messages they can put out and influence people etc. The nudge unit, scaring people, shaming, group think. How stupid the rules were, no one could follow them, the government didn't.

Some of the stuff was absolutely bonkers and when you look back it looked utterly ridiculous.

I’ve had covid twice, once before vaccination which was very unpleasant, once after vaccination which was a cold.

I’m not thrilled about having another jab but I’ll have one just to avoid feeling shite for a week. Also may be necessary for some travel.

We've had four jabs and will probably have the fifth.
I think it might even turn out to be a regular once a year job like Flu etc.

Difficult to see why you wouldn't have it , once available.

Difficult for me to see why folk smoke, eat too much, exercise too little and drink too much but want an injection of chemicals cos they’re concerned about their health 🤷‍♂️🤣🤣🤣

I’ve had first 2 vaccines, then covid(early delta). Was pretty i’ll for around7-10 days, then booster as needed for foreign travel… I must be immune as fuk…no more jabs..😎

I stopped smoking when I was about 26 in 1961. I drink in moderation. (Now) 😉
I am pretty healthy and active for my age, (87).

My Mother and her friends have all had at least 4 covid jabs possibly 5 and they keep getting covid on a regular basis.
I haven't had any jabs and I've had it once and go to work, pubs, football etc.
I would say if you want a jab feel free but leave it to the individual and drop the heavy doom and gloom advertising campaigns which many of us ignore but the elderly take seriously. Possibly because a lot of them have the news on all day and that isn't healthy!
