Anybody see Colin Calderwood at Wembley today?

Blackpool’s defensive improvement and winning run coincided with Colin Calderwood’s appointment as Assistant Manager/Defensive Coach at the end of October 2020. On paper Calderwood appears to have made a significant contribution to Pool’s promotion to the Championship but I never see him alongside Critchley on match days, giving his input and advice. I looked for Calderwood again today and didn’t see him, not even at the end of the match when Critchley was hugging and celebrating with everybody.

He was in the nearby pub after the game with us so pretty sure he was there

Thx, I also didn’t see him on the Group photo celebrating with the Players, the Manager and the rest of the staff. Calderwood still seems always on the periphery of the action to me. I expected him to be alongside Critchley at all of the games, due to his wealth of knowledge and experience as a Player, Manager and Coach.

These weird conspiracy theories are always funny, he was on the pitch afterwards and fairly sure he was in the stands, which is pretty standard these days.

The fact we could get him here as a coach shows how well regarded this club is now and how much things have changed.
