Anyone else looking forward to next season?

We have a Championship standard goal keeper;
Solid defence (please keep Thornily)
3 class forwards (Lavery will hit top form next season)
Proven manager that knows the players and can attract quality young players;
We just need 2 solid midfielders that can actually pass the ball and move.

More important, we have some nice away fixtures for weekends away, or good days out.

Treble for next season. Leicester to win the Championship in England;
Airdrie to win the Championship in Scotland;
And Blackpool to win League 1:

I'm looking forward to it but we have absolutely zero creativity in that squad

I think that Yates will go, not sure Lavery has ever truly recovered from that hamstring injury against Blackburn in his first season.

Other than that, I agree. I’m expecting top 6 minimum. Plenty of new grounds for me. Never been Exeter, Stevenage, Cambridge, Oxford or Bristol Rovers. So yeah, time to stop feeling sorry for ourselves and get behind Critchley and his players

Put £50 on that treble, if it comes up, you could probably retire.😁

We have no back up goal keeper .
Thornily is gone I believe.
Yates is going to go for the money .
We just need any solid midfielder that can pass the ball and move.
A manager who has failed at his last two teams and some players won't trust him.
Yes ,really looking forward to this season.

I’m looking forward to it, but first we’ve got to debate all the forthcoming players we are linked with, sign loads of players we’ve not been linked with, we’ve got the pre-season friendlies , the fixture announcement and then the start to the season . What’s not to look forward to. UTMP.
And a new kit😎

I’m confident for next season as well.

For what it’s worth I fancy M’Boro under Carrick to do the business next season in the Championship. Think Leicester will be up and around the top but not sure Leeds & Saints will be especially Leeds, they are in a mess.

Also fancy MK Dons under Alexander to come straight back up.

Yes, roll on fixture release day and start of the season - I for one am missing at, and am excited to get back going. Reckon we could potentially do well this year.

It's too far away to look forward to ATM. Perhaps a few days before the season starts, although I think there's only 1 Saturday we're not away until the second week in September.

I'm waiting to see who we get in key jobs behind the scenes and then which players we sign and who leaves. Because of last season I have serious doubts about our owners competence of running the football side of the club so it depends who he brings in and what he is willing to invest in players, As it stands I would say I am worried but time for things to change.

Why not create a mood barometer you could put into your posts to save all the typing? 😉

I have done for each and every one of the last 62 years and this one will be no different. Glass half-full person,me, as I think you have to be to support the mighty.

Like you kerry this is my 63 season , we have experienced all sorts of differing emotions in that time , but now for the first time we have one of us has our owner,

That's the big difference now we have a Club where we the fans matter , the community matters .

I could never say before it's OUR CLUB .

So yes I am looking forward to next season and certainly the future, UTMP
