I tried really hard to get the time off but couldn't. I've just started an eleven hour shift. There's a chance that I might see some of the match on my break but it also depends on what work comes my way.

Just curious to see who else has to work?

Yep but they’ll have to sack me if they want to stop me watching it
 
I’ll be working tonight... on my beer intake and nerves.

Having been in the pub business for many years, I sympathise with anyone working evenings and weekends, hope you get to watch it.
