Anyone going away for Xmas ..

Not sure how they can manage a half marathon if it’s in Funchal itself given how hilly and steep the place is😂
Lovely place mind you with a lot to see……especially if you do the “ basket run”😉

Just looked at the route so no steep climbs by the look of it,believe me if it were uphill you’d need to be a fell running athlete 🏃🏃🏃⛰️⛰️⛰️
Ha ha yeah I looked at the route and it seems quite flat so no worries there. I have got a 50 Mile ultra in March which will test me a bit more

Not abroad but 4 nights in a cottage in Alnwick, Northumberland.

Going on 23rd, and Christmas Eve will be catching the train from Alnmouth to Edinburgh to enjoy the city and the Markets. Excited 🎄
Lala, hop on a bus or drive to Newton-by-the-Sea and have lunch/drinks at The Joiners Arms (booking advised). Then a lovely stroll along the beach or across the headland path. Beautiful, my favourite place.

Driving down to Somerset for Xmas on Sunday .. neither away fixture grabbed me and so it's 5 days with the in laws with the bonus that they own a very nice hotel/pub,
