Fairly recently got back from there (3 weeks ago), spent 24 days trying to cover as much ground as possible. First time visit but I’ll definitely go back, loved the place and the people, not to mention the food.

Just had two months in Pattaya, got back a fortnight ago.

A decent friendly bar manager put the Bromley FA Cup game on a 'big TV' for me, plus the Shrewsbury home game.

Won 6-0 on aggregate, better than when I watched all t'other games on my laptop!

Yep mate,off to Phuket on Sunday for 7 nights,then to Penang for 7 nights,then Kuala Lumpa for Chimbo for 5 nights then back home to freeze my bollocks off

We stayed in Khaolak for 4 days. Visited their Tsunami museum and found it very moving looking at some of their photos. Try the Walkers Inn if you get chance, it’s run by a guy called Andy from Yorkshire. He does a mean curry too.
We spent a few days in Bangkok, as you say, a mental place. Makes Central Drive look quiet in comparison
Also, covered Koh Samui, Koh Phangnan, and Koh Tao (where we did our scuba diving course). I can see why so many people from the uk retire there now.
