!!No he won’t
In the late forties, my dad (bless him) defied his PKE supporting family to pledge allegiance to the mighty. Otherwise I would have become...No, no, I can't say itUnfortunately my two uncles, cousin and his children have chosen to go down the wrong road and support Preston, my mum's side are Preston,my dad's are all Seasiders. Any other Pool fans with split family loyalties?.
That made laugh because not only is my husband a nobber, but he is catholic and I’m Protestant so when our son was born we didn’t have him christened so that he could decide for himself when he was old enough. No big deal. Football allegiance, however, was entirely another matter and that’s why I got in there early and bought my son a s/t, (my husband didn’t stand much of a chance anyway with lots of us and only one of him.). Football is the only thing we tend to argue about, although I’ve learnt over the years not to rise to the bait. I just smirk… a lot…. In a kind of superior wayA mixed Blackpool/PKE relationship or marriage makes the whole Catholic/Protestant thing look fairly simple.
I could just about cope with one of my lot marrying a Preston supporter, but if they tried to bring up my grandchildren supporting that lot…..!? Well it just doesn’t bear thinking about.
Fortunately it hasn’t happened so hey ho
It’s never too late….. plenty of single wholesome Seasiders out thereThat made laugh because not only is my husband a nobber, but he is catholic and I’m Protestant so when our son was born we didn’t have him christened so that he could decide for himself when he was old enough.
