In the late forties, my dad (bless him) defied his PKE supporting family to pledge allegiance to the mighty. Otherwise I would have become...No, no, I can't say it ☠️

That made laugh because not only is my husband a nobber, but he is catholic and I’m Protestant so when our son was born we didn’t have him christened so that he could decide for himself when he was old enough. No big deal. Football allegiance, however, was entirely another matter and that’s why I got in there early and bought my son a s/t, (my husband didn’t stand much of a chance anyway with lots of us and only one of him.). Football is the only thing we tend to argue about, although I’ve learnt over the years not to rise to the bait. I just smirk… a lot…. In a kind of superior way 😬

One of the many good points about living in the north east is there's none of them around here to infect the gene pool - the daughters boyfriend is a mackem and that's bad enough.
Back in Garsvegas I had a mate who was a spurs fan(?) but would also come and watch the mighty with us. Fast forward 30 years and he's now a staunch nobber and follows them home and away????

I found it highly hilarious when he had to go in the BFC shop with my daughter to buy my Fathers Day present 😂
 
All the good lady's family are Knobbers, My Wedding day was awesome when I unbuttoned my No1 Dress Jacket to reveal my Blackpool Shirt..
Kids have been brought up as Seasiders and the wife is a Blackpool Season ticket holder. :)
