Seems to me that that they are straight on MM back and he's crap, should even be sacked after 2 games.
The only one to take flak should be Madine. He is a liability and now MM knows it !!
Almost certainly we would have lost that game under Appleton, remember Wigan? No subs and watched the team dehydrate in front of his eyes.
The starting 11 wasn't my choice but how many times did we pick Appletons team for him ? 20 odd games and he still didn't know how to approach a game let alone get a result. MM has not been given a 4 year deal and promised to play pretty attacking football, he's hear to keep us up and that's all . I can certainly cut him some slack and trust him to do that , not something I could say about Appleton. Let him do his job and maybe we can stay in this league .
I for one left the ground a bit more optimistic than when I went in .The fight and spirit was obvious to see , Rotherham, Swansea and Stoke should /needs to be 6 points .

The players he didn’t bother starting with got us out of the shit. Look rather than post anything. Just say you’re happy with any standard of performance from any manager and will defend it no matter what.

The selection and formation last night was absolutely not good enough when we are trying to stay up. If we were playing Burnley it would make sense. Doing it against a terrible side makes no sense.

Damage was already done. A better team should have picked us off as we were chasing shadows for the majority of it. Managed to get a lucky goal and fair play to the players for fighting back. With that team selection, we were always on the back foot and being happy with a point at home to Huddersfield is a reflection of that.

Under the circumstances we take a point. The reality is though it was two points dropped and another nail in the coffin.

It was awful. A manager with experience who has previously had players like Jarvis, Ebanks Blake, Michael Kightly will know that you need flair and to play your best players. That selection and first 45 minutes was the worst of the season and absolutely unacceptable.

It’s got absolutely nothing to do with Appleton
It‘s about the Team and the Club — the fans were terrific last night as were almost all the players especially all the new players who rose to the occasion

The result felt like a win in the end having done our best or worst to toss it all away !

We don’t need Madine — total liability — how many times does he behave like a Sunday footballer ? That‘s the end for him — no discipline or prefessionalism

Far from a mushroom. Critical of the board and the previous one !!! Opinions expressed are my own , I hope MM turns up Saturday and plays Rotherham of the park , but if we win 1-0 I'll be more than happy.

Madine going off probably helped us. Madine as a lone striker is a contributing factor why we are down there. Has MM not watched any of our previous games? Playing Madine as a lone striker and Jerry right wing was nothing short of a disgrace.

Sorry this seems like such a deflection to put Appletons name on this. It was an abysmal 1st half, an abysmal selection and an awful negative set up.
Mick fcuked up hugely with this team and the players he ditched got him out of trouble. If he'd have picked his strongest players we would have won that game. Huddersfield were awful and first half especially so were we. I can watch better football on a Sunday morning. The problem is listening to his interview he seemed pretty happy with the 1st half and if anything annoyed that Bowler Rogers and Lyons got him out of the sh1t.
