Yeah. Wonder if he'll walk again? The quote that Scrafton has tweeted is a bit worrying. Basically the same thing Scott Parker was sacked for saying at the weekend.

Doubt it unless he has something else lined up like last time.Yeah. Wonder if he'll walk again?
Itās up to the players to prove him wrong then reallyā¦. Unfortunately as things stand, whilst they are showing plenty of effort and endeavour, the quality is lacking.Doubt it unless he has something else lined up like last time.
I know for a fact that players donāt like him saying that sort of thing though, hardly surprising really when heās publicly saying they arenāt good enough (whether itās true or not).
First question is , did pool get into debt last season staying upThe money for training ground and East is borrowed.
So to counter your question do you want the club in debt for Championship survival with no guarantees?
Sadler who is already putting six figures in year on year has already said he won't do a Derby and 100% fund the team and when you consider Sunderland's first home game got more attendees than our first three that's what we're up against.
I don't know if we got into debt staying up and doing a Derby was Sadler's word not mine when interviewed but some want to halt infrastructure at the club to fund the playing side.First question is , did pool get into debt last season staying up
then you ask , do I want pool like derby , no I donāt , but your right thereās no guarantess , that pool will get back to the championship , look how long it took first and then second time
to me staying up is important than the east stand , yes we need a training ground asap , but to sacrifice to relegation then no guarantee to come back , the higher you are in the leagues the better quality of player to play on our new training ground
I can see both sides of it , but surly stating in this league with bigger crowds and better tv revenue is a must surly ,
selling bowler , IF , it happens today , then them funds should be put back into the playing side , only on fees thou
Simon did say , the better players pool produce then when they sell it makes the team stronger when the money has been out back into the team
looking at Brentford model
just worries me that the talk is , training ground first over this team
there is another way lol
get pool into the prem , last time we had bad owners who stole the money , no legacy was left , this time surly Simon would invest into a new training ground from the money , thatās a legacy left , but no guarantees thou getting back lol
The danger I've always seen is SS lends the Cluib the money and the TG gets built along with the East. Then he's forced to leave for whatever reason, the Club could owe him Ā£30/40m. How favourably is he going to be to the new owners? It's a conundrum.I don't know if we got into debt staying up and doing a Derby was Sadler's word not mine when interviewed but some want to halt infrastructure at the club to fund the playing side.
The East has to be built or will be closed at some point and every club has a decent training ground even Cods and Fylde do as SS could walk out leave the club millions in debt and any new owner would still have to build all the stuff.
We could also have drawn 1-1 but for the Ref ignoring a blatant Penalty late in the game.Yes we were smashed 1-0 by a team with a (allegedly) Ā£15m striker
At least any new owner would know where he stands coming in.The danger I've always seen is SS lends the Cluib the money and the TG gets built along with the East. Yeah, but they'd be taking on the debt. Much harder to sell I think. At least any new owner would know where he stands coming in.
As things stand were a club with a Tin Pot training ground and a temporary stand that has a limited lifespan and isnāt really fit for purpose.Yeah, but they'd be taking on the debt. Much harder to sell I think.
He wouldn't be able to sell us you'd just be taking on the debt.Yeah, but they'd be taking on the debt. Much harder to sell I think.
I can see that, it's just a new owner may not be mega rich and be put off by the debt. Also we don't know what structure the loan to BFC will take- repayable on demand with interest? Also the manner of SS's departure should it come to that.As things stand were a club with a Tin Pot training ground and a temporary stand that has a limited lifespan and isnāt really fit for purpose.
If a new owner were to take over, then heād have to fund both at some point in any case. Do I donāt see the difference between inheriting a club with an investment need to inheriting a club with a partial debt (structured over time) to pay for the facilities already having been completed.
Itās not like you just inherit the dentā¦ you do actually get the land, the buildings, the new stand etcā¦
Which is a point paulco was making last night in a way, when he said about seeking another investor. That would then keep the football funded to a good level whilst the TG 'steams ahead'.He wouldn't be able to sell us you'd just be taking on the debt.
But some want the plans halting to fund the playing side so it's bad debt.
Donāt get me wrong I agree with what heās saying but thatās not the way to manage any employee in my experience. Publicly telling everyone you think theyāre shit only serves to piss people off.Itās up to the players to prove him wrong then reallyā¦. What on earth would an investor come in for?Which is a point paulco was making last night in a way, when he said about seeking another investor. That would then keep the football funded to a good level whilst the TG 'steams ahead'.

Anyway, as far as I'm aware very little money has been spent on the TG/E as of yet, so it's a discussion to be had when more info is available probably next spring.
Didn't SS say that whilst the TG investment is being made we won't be spending that much on players? Another investor would be more than handy in that respect.A football club needs a complete stadium and a proper training facility mate.
Theyāre pre-requisites at L2 level, never mind for a competent Championship side.
The investment is required, we have someone willing to fund the investment, Iām not really sure why we want to look for a ādisaster scenarioā ?
I agree with you to a certain extent Gary, it was certainly a feature of the Paul Ince tenure at Blackpool and yiu do wonder at times if itās a case of a manager āgetting their excuses in earlyā.Donāt get me wrong I agree with what heās saying but thatās not the way to manage any employee in my experience. Iām not sure exactly what he said founts. Possibly words to that effect, although I suspect he was meaning huge investment in players as opposed to none.Didn't SS say that whilst the TG investment is being made we won't be spending that much on players? That was the jist of it, think multi million or maybe 2m was mentioned.Iām not sure exactly what he said founts. Possibly words to that effect, although I suspect he was meaning huge investment in players as opposed to none.
Today might be a good barometer in terms of where we are at on player investmentā¦. Thereās clearly some pressure for improvements.
āSustainableā is probably an overused word in football these days. Iām not sure itās a reality reallyā¦.So one way or another we need investmentThat was the jist of it, think multi million or maybe 2m was mentioned.
I don't think another investor would come in- I don't think SS wants that, but the potential investment in the playing side wouldn't be unwelcome.
Ā£20 million according to the neutral panel of Mark Atkins and Kevin Gallagher after the game on R Lancs.Yes we were smashed 1-0 by a team with a (allegedly) Ā£15m striker
Exactly my thoughts. Canāt be good for squad moraleDoubt it unless he has something else lined up like last time.
