APTER AGAIN

He can't play for us this season. As such, I don't give a shit.

We've just won 2 0 away and people go on about players who aren't with us.

Did Colby Bishop or Josh Bowler or Jerry Yates score?
Bishop Bowler and Yates are not Blackpool players.

Did Brad Holmes or Owan Moffatt?
Couldn't give a fuck neither with Apter.
Drop the obsession folks it's embarrassing.

Just signed a new contract with us he's OURS.
Couldn't give a fuck about a Blackpool player's progress?

You're sounding a bit rattled.

You following any other of our players out on loan or is it only the boy wonder?

Nah it's rubbing out noses in it same happened with Hardie every time he scored on loan why why why isn't he here blah blah.

How did Dom Thompson do today?
No me neither just having a celebrity beer after getting back not checking on loan players.👍

And you know that he’ll leave us before getting a chance like so many other young players.
From all the ‘development squad’ players over the years how many have actually progressed into the first team ?

Right ratty thread this. I always check on ex Blackpool players. Be they managers , players or were blimmin mascots . Some of us do some of us don't .
Lots of managers / players from various eras get mentioned and I read those threads too

Considering we have won it all seems a bit fractious on here and I am guilty of that before anyone says. It's a funny atmosphere on here tonight.

He's really coming into his own amd is a stand out player at that level now.

Great for his development and great we signed him up for longer before sending him back too.

Yet a minority still mention SS and the stains in some comparisons, yet another clear and obvious difference, massive difference, actually securing our best players and upcoming talents so we either benefit ourselves or benefit from selling then on.

Common sense really.

Some people need a bishop to bash, Apters doing well he’s going to come back a better player and an asset in a 18 man squad. The miserable fuckers on here can’t see the benefits as per usual.

Dead right, some narky fuckers in here. Poolseasider and Wizaard struggling to accept they're wrong. 🤟

I love to know how our young players are getting on, Apteris our most promising talent and I’m extremely interested in his progress and seeing his goals, he’s our player for gods sake.

What I’ve never understood is the burning desire to mention PNE whenever they’re losing, who gives a shit about them, they’re not even in the same league, some of those on here would rather gloat about that than show an interest in one of our stars of the future, weird.

Great stuff for all concerned. I was impressed by him when he played his time here and it’s proving to be a perfect loan deal all round. I doubt he would have got much game time here this season and he will return, having had a season of meaningful football and doing very well. He will be playing for The Mighty next season so untwist yer knickers guys n fukin chill out.

So after a poor run by Stevenage and Oxford Blackpool creep into the play offs.
After navigating the first game we make the final at Wembley against Peterborough. One nil down and with ten minutes to go star player Dembele goes off injured and in his place, to create a goal Pool bring on … Matty Virtue. Enough said.

It'll be a big step up for him next season from League 2 to the Championship

Yet PNE fans at Totton the other night, after their game was called off were singing about us.

It's rivalry. Always has been and always will be, the game.

Didn't know Apter had played in midfield this season for Tranmere?
So yes if Dembelle went off we'd bring a mid on as we don't play with wingers which Rob has done all year.

Apter is perfectly capable of playing the role occupied by Dembele. He has played such a role in previous loans and played it when Dobbie gave him a little time at the end of last season.

Apter will get a good move to a League 1 club where he will start and be appreciated I am sure.

Our developer of nobody won't play him but there will be a host of clubs that will I am sure. Good luck to the lad.

I just hope that all this positivity about the youngster doesn't dissipate if he steps up a league and struggles.

L2 to L1 shouldn't be an unsurmountable challenge for him with his loan experiences now. Has obviously got a presence on the pitch and is able to pop up and influence most games despite the attention that is on him. Will be his decision making, when to pass/when to shoot, when to go into business for himself. That will come under scrutiny if he goes into our first team once the novelty wears off. But it will click in time if he's a willing learner. Nigel Adkins should be helping him with it now. And it's not like we've got a squad of technical robots where he'd be getting lost in the shuffle anyway.

League 1 is irrelevant as he's alone until the end of the season.

Question, is Will he be able to step up two divisions with us in the championship next season

Adkin’s seemed to be suggesting he was quite raw and had plenty to learn, but was willing to listen and coming along nicely as a result.

I’m in no doubt it’s been the right move fir this season and hopefully we’ll reap the rewards.
