Also, if we do bring him back, we better damn well use him properly (and not just as sub), or he might as well stay at Tranmere.
Critchley’s default negative style would probably hold him back. I don’t see him getting the freedom Nigel Adkins affords him. In fact, I’d rather have NA in charge here!

Yes we can only pray that we make proper use of Apter and that Critch loosens the chains on the attacking set up. Be sad if Apter gets a couple of sub runs and then goes back to the Wirral at the end of January. It's a division higher but Rob needs a proper opportunity. I think he'll get it because it would be unfair to call him back and then not do that.
