I tend to agree with that. A bit of a headless chicken last night.Worst player on the pitch for me (which will be a relief to Kenny Dougall!) - had no control, no awareness, no vision and very little technical ability. A late sub when things aren't going our way at best.
Tended to run into dead ends and not pass to players in better positions, but definitely not the worst on the nightHmm, I thought he was one of the better ones. There was a few burst of pace and bits of trickery from him that nearly created something, which considering the scraps he was fed...
Last 8 or 9 minutes maybe but otherwise seemed to be isolated making us look like a 10 man team. We would have been better matching Rotherham up in the middle.Hmm, I thought he was one of the better ones. Not a good comparison. I like the choccy block one. We’ve somehow managed to assemble a squad of unspectacular, workmanlike players with very little quality, poor skill levels from set pieces / even basic passing is abysmal.
Bowler went at the end of the window, leaving us sitting on a pile of cash and nothing in its place until January, hoping that BM can get (any) deals over the line this time around.
If this team was a Quality Street it would be the block of chocolate. It’s basic and ugly. Easily outdone by even the poorer quality toffee penny.
When we take on a toffee deluxe, it could get messy.

Nah. I leave it to the end. Sometimes I’ll give them to work colleagues or just bin them off.Not a good comparison. I like the choccy block one.
I like him but last night shows that he needs a more disciplined role: ie. play on the centre-left side of midfield and don't stray. Last night he was all over the place and whilst that free roaming role can work for some, it doesn't work for him.He is definitely very raw, and you're never quite sure what he's going to do or try to do and it's not always good; so probably not every game is for him to start, but I agree with Tango1953 and FY5_Seasider, in a dire team performance last night, he was one of the few who occasionally tried to take the game to them and give them something to worry about. And his goal last week was a fantastic finish, shouldn't ignore the good bits!
Who would be the Peanut Brittle then? The one they binned off as it was always left at the bottom of the tin come New Year?Nah. I leave it to the end. Sometimes I’ll give them to work colleagues or just bin them off.
It’s no Yorkie or Toblerone
Stewart. Mainly for the ‘brittle’ bit.Who would be the Peanut Brittle then? The one they binned off as it was always left at the bottom of the tin come New Year?
One of my favs, is the green blockWe’ve somehow managed to assemble a squad of unspectacular, workmanlike players with very little quality, poor skill levels from set pieces / even basic passing is abysmal.

The Boss!....for those of a certain age.Theo’s more like the orange chocolate crunch. Pleasantly appealing with a surprising crunch and strong aftertaste. With time, he might become the Green Triangle. Last night, however, he was an Orange crème.
Patino might already be the Purple One, or will be soon.
Wasn’t the worse for me I think Williams can put his hand up for that. I think Theo has a lot of skill but he’s very weak in the challenge so gets barged out very easily. That’s why he’s probably been loaned out to toughen him up.Worst player on the pitch for me (which will be a relief to Kenny Dougall!) - had no control, no awareness, no vision and very little technical ability. From what I could see behind the goal, when Theo was running through there wasn’t much option at all for him.Tended to run into dead ends and not pass to players in better positions, but definitely not the worst on the night
Agree but I would sign him tomorrowI think there is a player in there, I said a while ago that he's a bit like bowler (tin hat on) in that he's another head down player, which is really good when he's closing down a defence and surging solo on goal, but not when you want teamplay. There was one really good move started yesterday 6 or 7 really quick passes and subsequent player movement but as soon as it arrived at corbaneou's feet he ran at three defenders and lost the ball despite having three passes on into good spaces.
