Looking back to when I posted this thread after two successive 1-0 away defeats against Wigan and Derby and before the home draw against Wycombe...
Before the Wigan game, I'd checked the date of the League One Play-Off Final (Saturday 18th May) and booked my next well-deserved
holiday flying out from Manchester on Monday 20th May and returning the day before the start of next season.
I didn't want to take the risk of missing another Tangerine trip to Wembley, especially going with my 'kids' and grandkids, one of the latter aged 7 being gutted when we missed out in the BM trophy semis.
Let's take it one game at a time, I said to my eldest grandson who's 19, and see how we go...
I'm feeling happier now, after our last three victories and the results on Tuesday, that I delayed the start of my holiday.
Did I make the right decision, only time will tell - at least we're still innit to winnit!
Come on Stevenage, unplug the Oxford jukebox and do us all a favour...
