Atmosphere Today

We can criticise our players, but the atmosphere today from before kick-off was terrible. It was dead. How are we able to generate such a great atmosphere v Preston and away from home, but not bother today.

We can make a consistent difference to the lads, particularly when things aren’t going well. Let’s start on Tuesday.
Like all clubs fans we step up for the big games.

It was a poor 1st half so there wasn't much to shout about.
That said, I could hear the North from my seat in the south, although understandably not as much as more lively games such as PNE as you say.

But when they scored, I thought the crowd from all 3 stands got behind the team. It just wasn't happening today sadly, despite 19 attempts on goal (BBC)

We do need to get behind them and lift them, as we could argue what comes 1st the atmosphere or the good play.

But tbh the way we started was abysmal, under pressure from the off, missing basic passes, giving corners away for fun, it just sucks the life out the crowd, there was nothing exciting or inspiring about it, you just thought here we go again.

At the end of the day the fans have to feel like the team can win games, feel excited, a lacklustre summer and struggling season, clearly we aren't feeling it, the atmosphere doesn't lie.

Yeah, I get that, but there was nothing before the team came out, and when they did, it was polite applause. Just massively different.

Feelgood factor is a precious thing, when Critchley left everyone was shocked, well most, many people got attached and were on a downer, the club then went for a manager no one at the time wanted, plus had a summer with lots of missed targets.

The managers actually good, but it killed the feelgood factor somewhat initially with the summer we had too.

Also the football has been good in some games but we've struggled most the season due to a combination of factors, been hit an miss, some dreadful performances along the way.

It's been flat most the season.

As for today I think with the remembrance day it was quite sombre initially, then when the game happened we started like a team who hadn't seen a ball before, 1st half sucked the life out of people.
