Interesting looking at who’s still available. Some injury stricken players and some at the twilight of their careers.

Gosling back for one final season 👀

Some surprising names in there and many aren't in their 30s or injured. I thought Madine was recovering from injury?

Ben Heneghan on there too. Didn’t realise Everton had released Tom Davies and that he was still looking for a club in honesty

He turned down Cardiff's contract offer because it wasn't enough. There's more chance of plaiting fog than getting him to agree a deal for a L1 club.
A lot of posters on here have said many times, it’s a short career and players can’t be blamed for moving clubs for better wages. I wish I could have gone into semi-retirement at 25 and turned work down because it wasn’t enough money. Short career my arse, they’re just greedy barstewards.

Having turned down a deal with Everton and now Cardiff, it does seem he has been advised poorly. I'm guessing he's hoping a desperate club will come knocking eventually. He's a player I've never really rated, it'll be interesting to see where he eventually ends up. No doubt Saudi Arabia may be calling.

Linked with Sheff United, Cardiff seemed a strange one for a player who has 150-odd Prem appearances and is only 25. Everton said he left to pursue regular first team football, he can probably do that at a higher level than Cardiff.

Jordan Ibe maybe worth a punt. Tom Davies is crap, one decent game when Everton beat City at goodison 4 nil that was it

Theo Walcott is 34, it only seemed like yesterday when Sven picked him for England as a teenager for the world cup.
Just shows that compared to a normal career it is really short and while lucrative for those playing in the premier league
players in the lower leagues really have to have a plan for a second career after football ends.

He thought he was going to one of the Glasgow clubs and is now stuck.
