Railways considering allowing you to switch early buy tickets if game kick off changed. Aimed at encouraging people who then have to change plans because of local lockdown but same principle would apply if Sky change the day. Piloting with GWR and expected to rollout further.

Does a Tram not count. 😂

Last time I went to Shrewsbury I took the train from Wilmslow, driving there is a pain and takes an age,and it is only around an hour on the train if that.I decided( as I thought I needed the exercise) to walk to the ground and back....I was knackered especially the return leg as it involved a lot of up hill walking and I had a deadline time for the train back...and yes I made it.
There are apparently buses you could catch but I didn’t want to trust them.
Would I do it again( assuming away fans will be allowed to go in the first place) ...probably yes but if it’s a mid week fixture then I’ll give the game a complete miss.

The real shame is the train I caught Passes within yards of the ground...now if the only had a station for match days☹
...better still if only they had remained at the old ground...though you would still have the steep walk up the hill to the station😀

Only 0.3 of a mile to Ipswich station???? Must admit we had consumed a few beers 🍻🤔

Passed through Chesterfield on train yesterday.
Notice the new stadium is a couple miles out of town.
You never know when we will play them again.

If Wimbledon are back at Plough lane the nearest station is Haydons Road
and is about 2 or 3 minute walk otherwise Wimbledon is closest, about 15 minute walk.
