I'd imagine they might put away fans in the North Stand where Southend fans were the game after the oystons were gone, season ticket holders there will have to be relocated obviously

I personallly hope the East can be built in such a way that either a) the new stand can be built behind the existing structure with the existing structure then demolished and the lower tier added in the off season or b) the existing structure is partially demolished and rebuilt in phases (the Northern end initially demolished and rebuilt with the existing Southern end continuing to operate as is before then being demolished and rebuilt once the Northern end is complete). Either of the above would allow capacity to remain at 14,000+ (which is just about suitable) whereas the complete closure of the East would likely reduce total useable capacity to less than 12,000 or possibly 11,500 (with segregation).

I think the easiest solution for the club if the East stand were to close would be to either use just the South East concourse and seating and hope the EFL and FA grant a temporary dispensation from offering 10% of capacity. Otherwise the Northern end of the West with segregation in block L and the North West stand would be relatively easy albeit unpopular as it would be 2000+ seats and segregation likely meaning less than 10000 home fans max.

Cant see that - its totally sold out with season tickets and everyone knows that they really get behind the lads a make a lot of noise. I would think they would give away fans the South East corner and maybe a block or two of the South adjacent to it. Not as disruptive or giving away our advantage. Away fans unfortunately have to exit onto Bloomfield Road.
