I’m having a debate with my PNE associate and I remember Sumner’s as a designated away pub. He says not, am I right?

That pub which as mentioned has now been demolished, was once the designated away pub, so you're correct pal.

It has also been the designated home pub too in it's past.

I only ever went in once before a PNE match and it was definitely a home pub then.

The summers was always a nobber strong hold on match days through the 80s and 90s, but always managed to go in there. You are right though before closure in that cup game in 2013 it was as a designated Blackpool pub.

I certainly do, the usual suspects used to congregate in there after games about 16/17 years ago. Even got locked in by old bill after the millwall game
