Crowd – 28,000+ which keeps us at the top of the attendance figures by some way. For noise we must be near the bottom. The support at home is atrocious in volume and it is silent. The team are not great and are struggling but it seems so poor an atmosphere at home. Blackpool fans were superb. Great numbers – close to 3,000 was there it seemed – and the noise from start to finish vociferous. One of the best away supports for noise for some time and they celebrated their winner wildly – credit to them after some rough times with the ownership issues for a sustained period. They were excellent today. Seems teams and fans are coming here and taking the p*ss. The passionate, rabid atmosphere of 2 or 3 years ago seems a long time ago.

Agreed. I was really surprised how quiet the Blades fans were. I expected their support to be loud and passionate. Instead they were really quiet.

As a day it was brilliant to go with my son and daughter and one of her mates. To go to 3 games in ten days with 3 wins, and the final one in a decent sized city silencing 26,000 fans was the stuff you dream of.

I did a toast tonight “ to days like these”!!
 
The only singing en masse from them was the choreographed Annie's song.

I don't think we let them get any momentum and a chance to get involved. Bit like the Nobbers
 
Sounded total domination noise wise.

This is why i said to @Norfolk White even if the nobbers end up bottling it and only giving us 2 or 3k, we will make the place absolutely bouncing anyway.

It’s a different crowd now to the old days, most vociferous fans have season tickets and we really make some noise non stop with many chants.
