For all this talk about Critchley having various badges it only really means that he’s passed a course, just like school exams. What really matters is how that knowledge is transferred to the players and into a successful pattern of play.
I’m not seeing anything that suggests his “expertise” or ability is any better than many others we have had before him. Dobbie doesn’t have the same qualifications but the teams he put out during his short time showed a far superior attacking threat and was much better to watch than this boring Critchball so, to me, all these badges and qualification count for nowt
