Barrow away saturday

90 each way from for me Bleach.
I wouldn’t like to buy a car off some of these people
“Good reliable car, low mileage............”
Home matches clock up enough mileage but being retired I hardly drive anywhere else these days other than the shops and given where we live we have
Tescos, Marks and Spencer’s and Boots at Handforth Dean
John Lewis and Sainsbury’s at Cheadle Royal
Morrisons and Aldi in Cheadle Heath
Lidl, on the way to Morrisons
and Waitrose and Asda in Cheadle Hulme Centre
….none of which is more than 2 and half miles away and most less

We also have three small Indian grocers nearby….the only thing missing is a local Chinese Supermarket but there is always China Town in Manchester….we do like our Asian ( cook at home ) food.

Fair to say we are spoilt for choice and with Cheadle Hulme Station a 10 minute walk away it is less than 20 minutes into Manchester by train ( 3 per hour ….when they are not on strike😂 ) and all the shops, etc we might need there.

I definitely tot up a lot more mileage doing homes games than the rest put together.🙄

There is a decent sized Asian supermarket in Layton nowadays at the back of Mowbray Drive. Think it's linked to the Liverpool one as the Chinese guys working there have Scouse accents!

Pity we can't charter an old Isle of Man ferry to take us from Fleetwood to Barrow, with a couple of pints whilst on board.

Hope he plays a ‘First Team’ from the start .. two weeks to go, you’d feel it’s time to start putting a team out rather than mixing and matching.

They’ve put a roof on now I believe. Still a brolly day tho
It does have a roof and the forecast is still abysmal to the point of waterlogging of the pitch drainage is poor and even if it's good,
Saying that there is going to be 70mm of rainfall there by Monday.
