1989/90 Bass shirt lising on ebay if anyone is interested ... a nice 1987/89 Harry Feeney too

Jesus. Think how many of these are sat in drawers and cardboard boxes across the Fylde. The club need to get some of our old shirts back into production - a few clubs do it and the demand is clearly there ! £840 quid for a second hand shirt though 😫 Hopegully the club bought it for a future museum ?
 
There are some serious idiots out there.

£300 is ridiculous.......£840 you need locking up for paying that money

I wouldn't mind but the Bass shirt is absolutely rank. The centenary shirt is nicer and has the centenary markings on it.

There’s a real clamour for that Bass shirt though. A lot of people, myself included, would want one and are willing to put our hands in our pockets to get hold of one. Unfortunately my pockets aren’t quite that deep even at the best of times !! I think it’s a bit of a marmite design because I absolutely love it

Yeah I think it is Marmite because I hate it. I have one too but I was 13 at the time and actually went off it very quickly. Think i might put it on eBay as mine is the same size and see if I can get that 😁 🤣

In all seriousness though, if you have one then good luck to you ! I can’t offer anywhere near what you’ll get for it going off of that one on eBay. But if I were you I’d get it on there ASAP whilst this one has captured people’s imagination!

Yeah I think so. Think they were also known as Cavendish Sports as the season after that the shirts (Vaux) were made by both MCG & Cavendish. My Vaux shirt was Cavendish and I seem to remember the players wore MCG. Google doesn't come up with anything for either so I'd assume they went under

I wouldn't sell any of them. I kind of enjoy collecting them, even though I don't buy them these days I've got most from 1988 onwards until the boycott years.

I wonder how much a yellow Bass one would go for if the salmon one went for that money? IIRC it was only worn once so there won't be many out there
 
Just the Home MCG shirt itself comes up for sale once in a blue moon. Have never seen any of the other variations for sale.

The National Football Museum was looking for a Home MCG shirt for an exhibition and had to resort to the Blackpool Former Players Association in order to get one on loan.

£840 is a phenomenal price.
That's around the same price these days as what a Dutch Euro 1988 shirt goes for.

Shame there’s no sticky sell, buy or swap section on here.

I was interested in the centenary shirt but my signal went before I could bid.

My bass one wont go over my shoulders never mind my stomach. My blue harry feeney is the same but sadly all the writing has worn away as well.

Have you got a photo of the blue Harry Feeney? I'm researching kits and need a reference of the blue they used if at all possible.
