I didn't "have a go". A bit of mockery aimed at a few egos, that's all. My sister-in-law knows a few of them and has a few good tales.

I'm not sure why you have to be so aggressive when people contradict you. It makes you look a bit ridiculous, really.

You attacked a poster over something he said long ago because he criticised a vile op. Yes! You defended the vile post and Scaramanga who made it.

nope, how can I defend something if I didn't post a single word about it. My post was purely aimed at coppiceman. And trust me I've seen plenty of vile and abusive posts from you. Pretty much every thread you start is a vile and abusive post.

Only in a sad, petty and vindictive mind or a fascist one would criticising a Prime Minister with evidence be a more heinous offence than laughing at a woman whose sister was murdered by a right wing extremist being abused in the streets. I know you are not ashamed but you should be.

said it before, i've not even watched the video and know nothing of the story. My comment was simply aimed at coppiceman with regards to his remark about revolting posters and a previous comment made barely a week ago where he criticised a group of people who were involved in raising money for charity.
i really don't see why I should be ashamed about anything I've said on this thread. I know you are trying to draw me into your politically obsessed and extremist world but not today thanks.

nope didn't do that either. I simply replied to a post made by coppiceman. It was he who made a derogatory comment about another poster in the first place was it not? So no, not me that hijacked the thread.

I’ve made my position on the op pretty clear and it seems to be a view shared by most other posters on this thread, bar one.

I know you’re very angry at how the thread has gone, but I’m afraid you’re the only one to blame for that. You posted the op after all, and you’re the one who continues to embarrass himself by trying to rewrite history and blame other people for the result. You were looking for a reaction after all, but are now cross that you don’t like the one you’ve received.

Anyway we’re going round in circles, and I don’t think there’s much more to say. But if you want to continue making a tit of yourself then crack on.

nope, I simply made a comment about you with regards to something you had said. That's all. As for plunging in, it seems that you and a good few others are doing that with your attacks on the o/p'er.

We are going around in circles, and I suspect it is because you still haven't read the thread properly.

He made a very nasty OP, because he hadn't read his link properly or (I suspect) done his homework about who she is. It's typical of him, he's as lazy as he is ignorant. You are just piling in because you don't like the people who are calling him out for it. You don't do yourself any favours.

For the record copoutman, I know exactly who the woman in question is, the post is very relevant to current problematic problems within that community and has been in the news for a bit now. Why you think what I posted was nasty I’m not sure. Is it me your upset with or the problems in Batley and spen ? Or are you upset that its on the news and you don’t want people to see it as you are too conflicted as you don’t know which way to think about it. PS I’m not lazy or ignorant and you do well to stop labelling people you know nothing about.

As the OP was happy with a woman being 'driven out of town' through abuse, taking issue with that stance is acceptable, IMO.

The problem, as I see it, is that Politics have become nasty, very divisive and no side is blame-free.

Nigel Farage and others had milkshakes thrown at them during one of the elections, and certain people laughed about it. But now eggs are being thrown, people threatened, assaulted, demonstrations and counter-demonstrations appear to be the way Batley & Spen is going. Absolutely ridiculous. he who shouts loudest appears to win!

It's a shit show in Batley at the moment. There's no doubts that the Tories will take this seat. Galloway has seen to that. His extreme campaign of intimidation towards moderate Muslims in the community will mean that the turnout amongst Labour inclined voters will be very low. Add into the mix that no-one seems to know what Labour stands for and the vaccine bounce and it's inevitable.
What an array of extremists and weirdos running as well. That ** Galloway, lipstick fascist Jayde Franson and her from For Britain.
I hope that after this is all over, some of these unsavoury characters fuck off and let this community heal.
