Just score their 1,000,000,000th injury time goal to preserve their unbeaten run in EVERY competition they've played.

Got to be some sort of record if they keep it up for a few more games when the season ends?
 
They're going to be on their arse when that form finally flips around.

If you're Alonso you might as well do a Critchley backdoor boogie and go and help out Stevie G as how do you better this season. Unless he fancies his chances of going straight through the Champions League next year as well.

What a load of bollocks that is!

Of course they won't do this again. They will be decent in the Champs league next season and unless they have a fire sale which they won't they'll do alright. Got some very good players.

Alonso will go to Madrid if he keeps this up

It's not as you've just said it yourself. He's said he's staying but it can turn quickly in football and there's a good and a bad time to leave a party. If best players picked off and they lose momentum.

Incredible season though for them.

They'll do alright next season. Bayern won't be as shite though and that's their problem.

I'd expect at least quarters in the CL for them, unless they get a group of death

I admire him for sticking around. His stock will remain high even if they dip next season.

He obviously wants to continue his good work. Thing is, you see a manager do well somewhere then moves to a bigger club and flop. He's doing right IMO

Perhaps he has an integrity lacking in most coaches and a feeling of commitment to a group of players that he has moulded into German champions and currently unbeatable.

Every credit I say.
 
Watched the game against Roma, own goal was catastrophic, Mel Capleton like goalkeeping and hit defender in the face and bounced in.
Just knew 2nd goal was coming.
Frimpong the Leverkusen winger is the quickest thing on two legs, 0-60 in two seconds.
Unbelievable atmosphere even at 2 down
 
fantastic achievement by them. You could understand it more if it was one of the 'big' teams doing this but they've pretty much come from nowhere to set this record.

The English Premier League has certainly received a kick up the jacksie this year with German, Spanish and Italian clubs dominating Europe. Only Man City can come out with a bit of dignity. I hope it's a one-off, but I suspect the EPL has its head too far up its arse and has dropped a level while congratulating itself on being top of the pile.

50 games unbeaten in almost a year.

Only one more league game, then Atalanta in the Europa Cup final and finally Kaiserslauten in the Kraut Cup final...

just been on to their website. founded in 1904 as a representative of the BAYER company. have a look its really good. they have sports team in most popular sports. Got into the Bundesliga in 1979 . Never dropped out. Nothing much they havent won. impressive.
 
I remember they were good when ballack played for them and lost the league on the last day and also the cup final I believe

I think they lost the league on the final day, the Champs League final to Real Madrid and the German Cup final all within a couple of weeks. That's where the joke Neverkusen came from.

It’s a weird club as it feels like a suburb of Cologne and lacks some of the atmosphere of it’s neighbours

Chelmsford maybe not, but Cheltenham are a real powerhouse.
 
This can't be right don't they have the public hate figure Granit Xhaka holding their midfield together, according to this site is was dog Sh1t and should have never been a professional footballer as he was completely useless
