Not sure what the exact words were that were used on Sky last week but he indicated we’d see a few signings over a short period. I think we’ve made two since. I would imagine there’s others close to completion as it would be an odd thing to talk up on Sky if just the two were what he had in mind.
I do wonder if we’ve missed out on a couple which were close.

It would make more business sense to get rid of a few now. Surely Teddy Howe's days are numbered, Oliver Sarkic can't have been allocated a squad number and Bez Lubala and Joe Nuttall are living on borrowed time?

Not as easy as selling a second hand car though is it? These guys are still in contract so that complicates matters. I suspect Lubala etc will be loaned out and loans won't necessarily happen until August to give clubs the opportunity to get their initial targets bought...only then will loan moves happen.

Dunno about Nuttall. I think there is a player lurking in there. It will be interesting to see what Critchley makes of him

It's just a hunch, I guess the club will want to do a bit of squad trimming.

Nuttall only has one year left I think. Hopefully we'll find a loan for him that will pay a decent chunk of his wages, then move on next summer.
