We were absolutely fantastic. The way we moved the ball and retained possession was brilliant. And, when we lost it we won it back in seconds. Two great goals to boot. I just hope the injuries aren't too serious. If we can play like that consistently, top half no probs

Can’t agree more, I've seen some good performances this season but that was the best. Losing Keough at half time completely unbalanced us but we managed to get over the line!

The first half was the best I’ve seen us play this season. Didn’t go Bournemouth or Fulham games.

To say we had 3 injuries we hung in well but the second half wasn’t great. We didn’t start the second half nowhere near fast enough.

In the first half we pressed them brilliantly. Keshi was galloping down the left wing like a foal on a Summer's day and we were causing mayhem in the Rovers defence.
At half-time Mowbray had given them a message to wake up and press us - which is what they did second half. Also, Husband seemed a bit panicky for his first ten minutes. Two sides of the 'Pool: pressing and playing good attacking football, then battening down the hatches and defending for their lives.

We either have a good first half and a less good second half or vise versa. Whichever way round, it gives you a squeaky bum!
I'm sure NC & the coaching staff will be working hard to get the team to perform consistently over the 90 mins.
It's early days but we've settled into the season really well.

There were times in that first half they just couldn’t live with us.The way we moved the ball.Looked a threat every time we went forwards.I’ve not seen us look that dominant for a period since Holloway was in charge(granted I missed six years!)
