Best comeback you’ve seen?

I think, but it's s very long time ago, we were once 3-0 down at home to Walsall at half time.

I remember thinking at the time, of we score every ten minutes, we will win. I suppose when you're going everything seems possible.

We came back and won 4-3 with a very late winner.

Comebacks: let’s start a new file for them.

Public health warning:
comebacks are not good for those with dicky hearts and short tempers.

We are rare on comebacks.
Most teams are to be fair.

Wrexham away was great because we had been utterly abject for about 70 mins before the comeback started. It really was daylight robbery...

The 'comeback' versus Tranmere was very good. Not least for the John Aldridge moment.

What was great last night was the feeling that as soon as Dale got our first goal, you just knew what was coming next.

Not Blackpool but England away about 4 years ago in Berlin
Very similar to last night, 2-0 down with 20 minutes to go, 2-3 final score

Best comeback at Bloomfield Road that I witnessed from the Kop was in 1970. Blackpool were 3-0 up at half-time and coasting against Chelsea. Then Hollins, Osgood and Hudson took over and Chelsea left us all shell-shocked as Chelsea won 4-3. Seven goals all scored at the Kop end. Talk about a game of two halves.

It really was a bloody good game. I couldn’t believe how we came out second half! Play like that every game and we’ve nothing to worry about.

Was that in the Colin Methven era? I've a vague recollection of the same, and possibly of Scully scoring a header??

I was on the Kop that afternoon, but we don’t count that game.😉

We should never have been 2 down last night. We got nothing less than what we deserved for a dominant performance throughout the game spoiled by gifting two goals. As was said, as soon as Dale scored, there was only going to be one result.

i was in the scratchin sheds kop end too same as the arsenil game and wrexham away. remember at wrexham loads of the fans had left at half time remember a lot trying to get back in after we had scored the second they were in the pub in or near the car park.
remember us takin the piss out of loads outside

Maybe because it's still so fresh in the mind, but last night is pretty hard to beat, certainly in my time.
The 53 final must be our best comeback as Whits posted, but well before my time.

2-0 down to a top ten side, away from home, a newly promoted side who pundits were expecting to lose the game against "a more savvy championship side". That second half was outstanding. We played well in the first half but frustratingly failed to take our chances whilst gifting 2 goals to the opposition. Critch's substitutions worked wonders and imo we couldn’t have played much better in that 2nd half. 👏 👏 👏

Weller did score 2 of the goals but I recall being impressed by Hollins in particular and the presence of Osgood and the threat posed by Hudson. Cannot remember who scored for Blackpool
Didn't Keith Weller come on and transform the game?

I have to say a game against Gillingham away in the late 90s when we were 2-0 down in less than ten minutes it seemed but came back to win 3-2. Made the sweeter as I had persuaded my Gillingham supporting girlfriend at the time to come in the away end. Her initial smug grin soon disappeared in the second half.

A strange one was vs Burnley away.
On the long side with my dad mid 70's?
Whatever was opposite had been demolished making way for what is now the Bob Lord stand.
A good Blackpool side got battered, losing 4-0.
Many Pool fans had started to leave before we scored 3 second half goals & had Burnley on the ropes. Couldn't find that equaliser unfortunately.

One against us, Watford 7 us 2. The same day as Bradford City beat Chelsea in the FA Cup, and I had to travel back to Bradford as miserable as sin whilst all around me on the train were singing and chanting. Not a great journey.😫

Got to be Wrexham away. Night match (not too far to travel for me) and 3-0 down with about 30 mins to go. Tony Ellis was on fire and then a Mark Bonner free kick to round it off. superb!
