Best pubs / clubs post-match

Any suggestions for best pubs or clubs post-match ?
I’m travelling up for the QPR game on my own this time and I’m looking for somewhere to socialise after the game as it’s a later kick off.

Armfield

Depends what you're after.

Armfield is my choice, best pub in terms of atmosphere by miles but because of that it attracts a lot of people and in turn it can be difficult to get served.

If you're after a quieter pint surrounded by Pool but still close to Bloomfield Road try the Bloomfield Club or Bloomfield Pub, by no way quiet but a bit less raucous than the Armfield and will be full of Tangerine as far as the eye can see.

Whitegate Drive way if you're interested in venturing more in-land has the likes of the No. 10 Alehouse, The Saddle and the Boars Head all right next to each other. All three always have 'Pool fans in before and after.

If you're into real ales and will be near the town centre try The Brew Room (formally The Blue Room), great history mural of Blackpool FC on the wall as it was the building Blackpool FC was founded in!
(fairly certain the Bloomfield Pub has a decent ale selection as well)

Secrets, the Village, Addisons, Rumours were all fine places for a Friday night drink before a game and same again after.
