Best we can hope for this season?

With Rhodes looking like he's going back, our away form stuttering and the play offs looking like it could be a distant dream - what's the best we can hope for this season?

I imagine the loan market will be our way forward from here for the rest of the season. Decent forwards and attacking midfielders don’t come cheap, especially in January.
Get Apter back and a replacement for Rhodes and maybe Dougall and perhaps Weir.
Critchley will need to be more flexible and more prepared to take risks. Maybe that might happen as he starts to run out of games?
Play off contenders at best.

Just re-read that and tell me you really believe that! 😂😂

We won't be anywhere near the play offs unless changes are made by Neil and if Neil doesn't change it, Simon needs to.

Simple as this, 7/9 points from the next 3. Or it's time to go

No I guess I don’t particularly, but the question was what is the best we can hope for.
Surely NC has to re-examine his away strategy at some point. He was more flexible the last time he was here, but maybe that was down to his ‘experienced’ assistants. I imagine Madine for Rhodes is the most likely playing solution as well.

I would think that targets would have been identified already. dont care where they come from as long they improve our playing squad. And didnt Huddersfield do it all over Blackburn yesterday WITHOUT Jordan Rhodes. just never know.

24 games in and we still haven't found any consistent form. On that basis we'll do well to make the play offs.

I live in hope that we can go on a run but it's more a pipe dream. The 'its a new squad and style of play' line surely can't be an excuse any longer? If it's not gelled by now will it ever?

I can't see us getting anywhere near the top 6, certainly with the away form as it is at the moment. Other teams seem to be able to grind out wins, we can't even grind out draws!
If Rhodes goes back, as seems to be expected, I can't see where the goals will come from, certainly not as consistently as he scores.

It's almost as if we're finding out the hard way how shite/difficult this league is, but we should know, we've been here before! We need to find a way to win ugly and if that means abandoning 352, then ** get on with it!

I’m sure that we’ll figure in the Top 10, but can see the play offs being a game too far for us. Far too inconsistent.
People think being 8th in league one is something to be proud of, but personally I feel not being in the Championship is a failure.

I still think we can make the play offs. Critch is going to have to start tweaking things away from home though, as results and performances haven't been good enough

They will be identified ,same old we will get players nother club wants,Bridcut a prime example.

Say if Rhodes stays until the summer and we get a couple of decent players in Jan, play offs are not out of the question.
