Bez is Back!

Great news, I'm sure many people have moved on from him, but I'm still confident there is a player in there. Give him a full season under Critchley and you never know. His contract is until 2023 so we aren't going to be shipping him out any time soon.

Before he signed for us he had Championship interest and definitely showed signs last season.

Whatever was wrong I hope it's sorted now and he can kick on.
 
Doesn't seem like much of a development to me. It implies he's there on his own! There must be a good reason why we're not being told the story here but it's really dragging on. Hope the fella's alright.

I thought he struggled and didn't show us much at all. If he does get a second chance then he seriously needs to raise his game.
 
I'm sure if we needed to know we would.

Lets hope that the problem involving the club and Bez Luballa has been resolved and that
it doesn t spill over and effect any of the other players.
 
Hope Bez can turn this around and contribute positively on the pitch.
Looking at the current squad numbers up front, we have 2 AWOL, 1 long term injury, 1 loan. For months we’ve had half of the forward line absent. Feels like we are a bit short imo

To be fair l would'nt have thought that he would expect to be in the 25 man squad given that he’s been out of action for at least 6 months.
 
I still dont know his best position on the pitch. I remember last season cant remember who against but he got an assist by getting to the byline and squaring it low across the face of goal. I think this is the area he can hurt teams.He doesnt use much backlift when he plays that sort of ball and he does it fast and early so its difficult to read for the defender.As an example I would get him coming short for the corners and let him fire one near post before the defenders have reacted.Lavery will make that run near post.
 
bez has disappeared from official squad list in last day or so
so something seems to be in progress

Obviously that's just pure speculation though.

Sounds reasonable. Heard similar from Tanya who works in the chippy with Dave whose half brother is doing a building project for someone who once hired a jet ski from someone who once knew a guy who had done an outward bound course with the cousin of someone who taught Gary Madine at primary school so I think we can pretty much accept this as fact. (amundo)
 
I thought the mystery had been solved and he had been looking for his dog the last year .. then I realised he’d actually found God 🙄

With that kind of info why having you been holding back on us for all these years, you must know the team sheet before Critch does.

I know mate. I was hoping they would get loans.
Reading my post back it sounded a little harsh. Obviously if they have deeer problems they should be given all the help they can by the club. Anything untoward, get rid.

I assume he will be moving on now he is fit, he showed nothing the couple of appearances he made and that was league one. Definitely not what we need in the championship.

Thankfully, not sure we're in the habit of writing players off after playing a quarter of a season (and everyone struggled to some extent those first 3/4months); especially considering he might have been going through some personal issues.

I'm guessing he'll have until Jan to prove himself. I do think we have better quality in the squad but good luck to the lad, glad he's back training.

As you say good luck and if he did have personal issues I’m glad he’s over them. However I still maintain he showed nothing and I would be surprised if he made it at this level.
