Bianca Williams incident - is this 'racial profiling'

Blimey, the police investigating the police has escalated it; so that is the police doing a good job; I suspect there's something going on beyond this one case but that's guesswork.

I suppose both things can be true at the same time.

The car was driven erratically and therefore stopped.

The police behaved inappropriately because they are black.

Time will tell.

So instead of refusing to get out of the car, making the police more suspicious why not comply with the law, ask them the reasons for being stopped and then if the answers don't fit the questions then put in a complaint.
But no, her heart hurts because she was pulled over after driving on the wrong side of the road and speeding off. They had batons ready love because THEY didn't know what to expect next. Both bodycam and social media footage (she was that shaken she or her partner had time to get their phones out to film the whole situation) showed nothing wrong with how the police delt with the situation.
And unfortunately, whichever way she wants to look at it, it is mostly blacks who are getting stopped for drugs, arms and stolen property in that area so the police were doing their job. If it was mainly white people most of those would be getting stopped!

Here's a tip, if you get stopped by the police and you've done nothing wrong, you'll go happily on your way. So stop!!

Dons tin hat 😞
When's the last time you were pulled over with a gang of police with batons out. Do you really think unless they have been bang out of order they would have launched this investigation. They were goons who just happened to pick on the wrong black people on this occasion. Naturally nobody in a Mercedes who is black can be anything other than a drug dealer.

Funny one I read a few weeks ago was those two (white) idiots who were so arrogant they decided to jump a traffic jam on the motorway and speed up the hard shoulder with about a kilo of Coke in the car. And for that burst of arrogance they are both in hmp with all their assets frozen

I've been pulled up by the police once, that was for speeding.
I pulled over as I knew I was in the wrong.
However if I'd sped off and the police had chased me I have no idea what kind of reception I would have had waiting for me.
Maybe I should have sped off and when the police caught up with me be a right obnoxious ** and get a mate to video it all.
I could have then claimed to be the victim and an enquiry could take place.
In fact the sooner there's a lawless society the better, you should be allowed to do what you want, when you want to who you want without fear of any repercussions.

I've also been pulled over on waterloo road bridge on suspicion of carrying drugs.
The giveaway? I drive a Mercedes.
When the police checked the large block in a plain brown paper bag and found out is was in fact a block of ice cream I'd just purchased from notrianis, oh how we laughed🤣🤣🤣

We all the know the police are pissing in the wind ffs.

If they were blacked out window,s, how did they know the occupants were black?
I think you will find that front side windows are never strongly tinted or “blacked out”. It’s illegal to sell cars like that or fit them since it restricts the drivers visibility. Only rear side windows can be blacked out.

Therefore, it’s clear that the police would be able to recognise that the driver and/or front seat passenger were black, before stopping them.

When you get pulled over the cops prefer it if you turn on the interior lights and please hands out of the window. Try it and they will be so polite to you. They have. Job to do and if you cooperate things will be so smooth.

When cops pull you over, the first thing they tend to do is open the driver’s door and pull your key out of the ignition. To stop drive-aways. That can immediately annoy some people. When it happened to me I thought “the guy’s only doing his job, is a bit of a jerk, but be calm”. Then, after getting out, he stood so close to me that he was obviously sniffing my breath, but with a subtle disappointed little shake of his head he indicated to his colleague (who had leapt out of the police van driver’s seat with the breathalyser kit ready) that he was not needed.

I had lost a tail brake light bulb that evening. So, half-apologising and indicating I had a spare bulb kit to immediately replace it, I was allowed on my way. But the policemen were obviously already well wound up, perhaps because I was in a dodgy area of Manchester. It was an odd experience, not exactly harassment, but it felt like a loss for them in meeting a target. Probably a fairly common experience that many have had.
