Slightly bizarre atmosphere, turning on their own team and joining in our songs.
Would be down this season if it wasn’t for Derby & Reading‘s points deductions. Very very lucky.Disgraceful fans, definitely destined for league one, utter shite.
They screwed up a 2 goal lead against their local rivals on Friday and were 2 down in no time today. When your team's rubbish week in week out the fans are entitled to be restless. Ours would be.I am normally of the view that fans can cheer, boo, arrive and leave whenever they want but Brum fans did seem to turn against their team a little too quickly.
Neve mind what happening with the club at the moment. The idiots were fighting each other even before kick off.
That's fair enough and a good point , but having a pop at the players seems the wrong target of their frustration to me. It looked like it affected some of their players, I can recall a couple of them confronting the supporters during the game. Have a go at the owners, but not the players, unless I'm missing something? They've got the problem of having owners who don't give a damn. Their ground is reportedly in disrepair and rightly so the fans aren't happy.
Looking at our kids rather than the away fans; sadly we have supporters who encourage stewards to do it.Some fans had bottles and cans of beer with them in side the ground as well as smoke bombs.
What do the stewards on the turnstiles actually do?
Heard it was about some Yarkshire Brummies not buying rounds in the pub and freeloading off the Brummie bluenosesYeah, wonder what that was all about?
Agree 100%Felt for them especially after the shit we have been through. We should know more than anyone how hard it is to get rid of bad owners. Their’s are very Venkyesque with nothing coming from the owners in China
I feel for the fella. That's fair enough and a good point , but having a pop at the players seems the wrong target of their frustration to me. I didn't like Bowyer in his playing days & I've not paid much attention to his managerial career. But in that interview he sounded like he'd had enough. Chinese owners that don't communicate, now there's a shock. Our football teams shouldn't be playthings for foreigners, it's part of our heritage Grrrr.
It's literally no different to what we did during the same time. Aldred at Burton Albion? That's fair enough and a good point , but having a pop at the players seems the wrong target of their frustration to me. It looked like it affected some of their players, I can recall a couple of them confronting the supporters during the game. Have a go at the owners, but not the players, unless I'm missing something?
They probably do, but in numbersChinese owners that don't communicate
In fact, playthings for anyone looking for a quick buck or an opportunity to launder ill-gotten gains. Watching Bowyer then was difficult. He obviously cares but doesn't have the resources or the backing to progress.I didn't like Bowyer in his playing days & I've not paid much attention to his managerial career. But in that interview he sounded like he'd had enough. Chinese owners that don't communicate, now there's a shock. That'll be a normal show then.Jasper Carrott won’t be cracking many jokes tonight that’s for sure.
They've won the League Cup twice which is a major honour, one of the wins coming as recently as 2010. Obviously the FA Cup is more illustrious but it's still a major honour.Stated on their forum that theyre a far bigger club than Blackpool despite their highest finish being lower than ours and no major honours. Also a few of em touting Critchley would go to them as a replacement for Bowyer for the same reason
Your last point is spot on, but don't use a slur to address anyoneGive me a Kitchen over an Oyston every day of the week and twice on a Sunday.
If owners are chite they are chite no matter where they are from, they are good British owners and chite foreign owners and vice versa.
I'm thinking some will suggest that the foreigners don't understand what the game means to British supporters but I'm not having that either.
They were singing you're not fit to wear the shirt ahead of the Billy Ayre tribute.I am normally of the view that fans can cheer, boo, arrive and leave whenever they want but Brum fans did seem to turn against their team a little too quickly.
Bigger stadium with over half unusable due to structural defects. Their capacity is similar to ours at present. They've won the League Cup twice which is a major honour, one of the wins coming as recently as 2010. Obviously the FA Cup is more illustrious but it's still a major honour.
You'd have to concede they're a bigger club than us with more major honours, bigger stadium, bigger fanbase and more time spent in the top flight. They are a club that exists in the 2nd biggest city in the country behind London though so they should be light years ahead of us really - especially in terms of our trophy cabinets.
Yeah, they went 2 down quickly. It happens sometimes. Another poster said they are still cheesed off from a shit performance in a recent derby (know the feeling) so perhaps that explains things. They were singing you're not fit to wear the shirt ahead of the Billy Ayre tribute.
