Blackburn friendly

To be honest it’s a good idea. Firstly because it’s a friendly which never have much chanting or OTT celebrating a goal. Could test out all the measures put in place find out what works well what needs improvement etc and just have a modest 1000 fans there to test it ready for 4K in October.

Can't see them using a local derby as a good time to try out the plans.

They need to allow 5 subs throughout the season as a one off rule for this year.

This is a good idea, and I also wondered whether they might relax the loan rules for one season only too.
But being a good idea, the EFL won't have thought of it, and if they had they would only make the decision to implement it next March.

It's a good idea on trialing SD measures at a friendly but it ain't really up to the club but the government, you can't allow it at one without the other and seeing as indoor venues are now allowed to open why not.
