To be played at home on August 25th.
I wonder if they’ll test having fans in the ground for it.

I can't help but think voting for squads of 22 is a mistake judging by how frequent the games are going to be this season.
Can't see them using a local derby as a good time to try out the plans. To be honest it’s a good idea. Firstly because it’s a friendly which never have much chanting or OTT celebrating a goal. Could test out all the measures put in place find out what works well what needs improvement etc and just have a modest 1000 fans there to test it ready for 4K in October.
Sorry still don’t see a problem if limited to 1k Blackpool fans. Can't see them using a local derby as a good time to try out the plans.
They need to allow 5 subs throughout the season as a one off rule for this year.

Exactly, common sense would suggest this is the perfect time to trial it.It's a good idea on trialing SD measures at a friendly but it ain't really up to the club but the government, you can't allow it at one without the other and seeing as indoor venues are now allowed to open why not.
