BLACKPOOL 1-4 FOREST (NEW VIDEO)

Great reporting, as always, despite the result - but some important changes needed before Tuesday….

- No place in the match, apparently, for Lucky Orange Aero, despite consistent performances this season.

- Jane’s hat all over the place. Despite occupying a central role beforehand, the logo seemed lost on the left, presumably in favour of new badge signings. Both unfortunately contributed little in their new roles.

- An aura of foreboding seemed to hang over the pre-match commentary. No club merch and no mention of being ‘super-excited’.

Well - no wonder we lost! 🤣🤣😉👍
 
Cheers Lee and Jane and the many Forest contributors - got the tone right I thought

Captured the game quite well

We were offensively nearly there - I think the first lucky goal set the tone

The referee was trulypants - to be a good official you need to get the detail right and this guy couldn’t get his socks on right with blatant arms in face, clear push in the box and theNFL tactics on Madine - the Toulon Husband would have got him a red but not them ! But we say it every week and nowt changes

Need a bit of luck the rest of the week and let’s see as a Club what we are made of - Come on all

I think you are right Bluecabinboy the early kick off threw a spanner in our preparations as everything was a bit of a rush. Although Janes masterplan with the hat was to take it off for the last 10 minutes to prevent any disasters but it was over in the 1st 30 minutes so that plan went south pretty early on! WE will be prepared more for Tuesday

I hate to keep bemoaning referees Paul but it is quite weird how they continually seem to give us very little. However I can't blame the ref for our mistakes or the fact that we simply do not take our chances but the shot that was deflected over by a Forest player and given as a goal kick almost had the South Stand in meltdown and when those things aren't given they change the game. I thought we had a few penalty shouts I haven't watched the game back on TV yet (which I am going to do tomorrow) so it will be interesting to see what the commentators said/thought and whether we were harshly treated or not?

I think the tone was set with the challenge on Yates - watch their players eyes - the ref was 5 yards away - so no yellow for that and so the die is cast - they know they can do what they want and did

Our players are just too honest - Bowler in particular has taken some disgusting challenges and yet still has 2 legs

It’s not good enough and how we had as many bookings s them is incredulous (for handball !) not GNH

All The Pool (staff and fans) need to be counted tomorrow - we need to fight for everything - this is a test of our character - we just need a solid performance
 
No need to dwell on this, we just had a bad day at the office so to speak.
Lets move on to the next task on Tuesday night and come away with all 3 points and heads held high then off t'rovers for another 3.
